ARISTON was founded in 1949.The growth experienced at that moment led to the opening of subsidiaries all across Latin America, as well as the development of independent pharmaceutical facilities in each country.
By the end of 2003 Ariston Argentina was acquired by a local business group with ample experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Alberto Jorge Besser is a member of the company’s investment group. He has a longstanding experience spanning over 40 years in the pharmaceutical sector. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for COOPERALA, one of the three chambers representing 90% of the pharmaceutical industry. He has spearheaded, directed and presided over national and international laboratories dedicated to medicinal products across the region.
